MMORPG is a game term that stands most commonly for Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game . WildStar is considered an MMORPG.
MMORPGs are characterized most often by being games where a player is expected to choose between, or pretend to be, different types of characters and where a "massive" number of players can play together at the same time. "Massive" is considered to be at least an order of magnitude larger to than the several to several dozen which was typical of network or internet games when the term originated.
